New Year, New Goals: Main Hill Media’s 2026 Reset

As the new year rolls around, many people set resolutions to reflect on the past year and bring meaningful change to the new year. While everyone’s goals vary, many resolutions tend to focus on health, financial savings, or personal growth. A few members of the Main Hill Media’s staff have shared their resolutions for the upcoming year, both big and small. Many of these goals are centered around limiting phone usage and making time to incorporate healthy habits into their routines.

List of New Year’s Resolutions:

Skyla Drummond, Internal Events and Growth Director

-Read 24 books

-Run a half marathon

-Journal everyday

-Find 6 new recipes to try

-Have a “Word of the Year”: Trust

Sophie Leos, Account Executive

-Become the most healthy and productive version of myself

-Prioritize getting 100g of protein a day

-Include 45 minutes of active movement a day in my routine

-Read and journal before bed

-Set screen time limits on my phone

Kaylee Lykins, Director of Operations

-Learn film photography with my new camera

-Learn how to play guitar

Liana Mendoza, Graphic Designer

-Write down everything to stay on track with all tasks

-Read before going to bed instead of scrolling on my phone

-Be intentional with friendships and prioritizing spending quality time with those you love

Siena Lamb, Assistant Social Media Director

-Read 2 books per month

-Lower screentime to 3 hours per day

-Reduce “mindless scrolling” on social media

These are just a few of the ways our staff plans to grow both personally and professionally in the new year. While each goal is unique, all are rooted in a shared commitment to positive growth and everyday improvement.
